Working out of my London studio these pieces investigate light and form in its many guises.  My pieces, executed in oil on board or canvas, show a range of subject matter but all focus on the fall of light in different ways, With portraiture I focus on layers of tone to capture the translucence of skin tone and its gentle reflective qualities.

I'm the Chair of the West Wickham Art Society, life drawing forms a large part of my practice and I take many of my drawings into final outcomes in oil.
